Day 15:

Day 14:

Today...

I realized I should have been dusting my room all along. It is a dirty mess. I'm afraid to look under my dresser.

Day 11:

Today...

I went to the DC zoo with Britt, Jack, Josh, and Kyle. I then had dinner in Arlington with Dustin, John, Ali, Lauren and a few others at our favorite sushi place. We went and got beer and more food (best chocolate cake ever) at a pub that was having a trivia night. John got told to shut up by a man sitting at a neighboring table because he called out "Jamaica," an answer to one of the questions. It was a good night, and for some reason it felt like we were getting old. I was sitting with my post-grad friends and realized that this is how life goes.

I like turtles.

Day 10:

Today....

I learned that ultimate frisbee is one of the most fun and easy to pick up sports I've ever played.

Day 9:

Today...

I made the best broccoli I've ever had, and I'm pretty sure it could have even been because I used the wrong kind of parmesan cheese, and I didn't have garlic cloves so I used the chopped stuff from the can. Still so Awesome.
I made it with salmon. Noms

Day 8:

Today...

I've decided to take up something I used to do on a regular basis about 2 years ago: go for walks, specifically right before dinner, because it's not dark out yet and the moving makes me hungry. Walks rule.
I spy the moon.

Day 7:

Today...

I went to DC on a whim, and it was the best decision I've made this year (see what I did there...). I got to see Dustin's office, eat at the Kabob place he always talks about, and explore the city. I also got lucky at H&M. I love DC

Day 6:

Today...

I ran to Central Park for the first time, to get my car from said bar (from last night). It was cold and windy, and there was a crappy hill, but it wasn't as far as I had predicted, and it was kind of fun. I also got to stop at Walmart and get more cereal.

Day 5:

Today...

I felt a strange sense of calmness, and it was AWESOME. I lost my wallet as soon as I got to Bailey's (for $2 glasses), so I went to my car and looked for it, didn't find it so I left, and on my way home Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam "Daughter" was on the radio , and I felt like I wasn't supposed to go out anyways. It was a sign. I got home and realized my wallet had fallen out of my purse and was stuck between the passenger seat and door, headed out, and drank 2 Blue Moons with friends. Glad I did.

Day 4:

Today...

I bought rice crispy treat cereal a few days ago, and today I had two bowls of it for breakfast. It is debatably the best cereal ever. Also, my boots came in the mail while I was gone this weekend (tall, dark, and suede, and beautiful), but Urban Outfitters sent me 2 left feet! Those turds. Customer service was nice and I'll be getting a new pair in the mail. Lastly, I learned that today is a national holiday because the post office was closed, when I tried to send my shoes back. Most importantly, I had an epiphany on my run this morning, that I would really enjoy being a nutritionist as a career.

Day 3: Happy New Year!

Today...

I woke up on the first day of 2012 in the back seat of a car curled up in a sleeping bag. It was cold and a bit uncomfortable, but I kind of loved it.
